You can notice the crack without becoming the crack. You can name the room that needs attention without declaring the whole house unlivable.
Some things are structural. Some are cosmetic. Some belong to a system that has been neglected. And some things are already strong enough to hold you.

The purpose of seeing clearly is not to gather evidence against yourself. It is to understand what you are working with - and to recognize what has supported you all along.
