Whose Map?

By Courtney Kattengell · Archive date: August 18, 2026

A map can be accurate and still lead somewhere you do not want to go.

You may have followed it faithfully - the approved route, the efficient route, the route everyone assured you would end in success.

But if you keep arriving in a life that feels foreign, pause before blaming your ability to navigate.

Ask who drew the map. Ask what destination it was designed to reach. Ask whether the person you are becoming was ever considered in its making.

You are allowed to choose another road, another pace, another way home.
